Hội chứng cứng đa khớp bẩm sinh (Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita -AMC) là một nhóm các rối loạn hiếm gặp đặc trưng bởi sự co cứng nhiều khớp ngay từ khi sinh ra. Phục hồi chức năng sớm là rất cần thiết để giảm thiểu sự co cứng khớp và tối đa hóa tính tự chủ và sự tham gia của những người mắc AMC. Tuy nhiên, hiện có rất ít bằng chứng khoa học vững chắc để định hướng thực hành tốt nhất. Dự án này nhằm mục đích xây dựng các khuyến nghị dựa trên sự đồng thuận về quản lý phục hồi chức năng cho trẻ em mắc AMC trong các lĩnh vực ưu tiên sau: can thiệp sớm và phát triển vận động, chức năng cơ và khớp, dụng cụ chỉnh hình, khả năng vận động, tham gia vào các lĩnh vực của cuộc sống, đau, sức khỏe tâm lý xã hội và phục hồi chức năng trước và sau phẫu thuật.
